Het is bijna zo ver: Valentijnsdag. Dé dag om extra waardering uit te spreken aan je partner, beste (vriend)in, familielid of favoriete collega. En verrassend genoeg zijn chocolade en rozen níet het meest geliefde gebaar.
We zijn oh-zo-romantisch.
Handgeschreven gebaar
We gooien het belangrijkste feitje er maar meteen in: 86 procent* van de mensen ontvangt liever een kaart dan chocolade, rozen of lingerie voor Valentijnsdag. Dat maakt het handgeschreven gebaar populairder dan rozen (79 procent), chocolade (75 procent), of lingerie (37 procent). Opvallend genoeg zijn jongeren, die opgegroeid zijn in het digitale tijdperk, de grootste voorstanders van ‘ouderwetse’ liefdespost.
Valentijnspost
PostNL liet anoniem onderzoek doen naar onze gewoontes, verwachtingen en favoriete cadeau voor Valentijnsdag. Daaruit blijkt naast de eerdergenoemde feitjes, dat slechts één op de vijf mensen verwacht valentijnspost te krijgen. Toch legen we massaal onze brievenbus op 14 februari. Stiekem hopen we dus wel dat er een verrassing in ligt.
Lekker persoonlijk
